of Green Team Utah
MINI of Murray is pleased to announce that MINI has been chosen by Green Team of Utah as its car
of the year. A green MINI identified as the Green Team Car will be seen on the roads of the Wasatch
Front as well as Green events along the Wasatch front from August 1st 2009 through July 31st 2010.
John Firmage, owner of MINI of Murray, explained MINI is a very fuel efficient vehicle and actually
achieves better mileage than many of the hybrids. We are very pleased that MINI has been chosen
by Green Team Utah as its car of the year for 2009/ 2010. The MINI Cooper hardtop with a standard
transmission gets 37 miles per gallon on the highway. A MINI E, total electric vehicle, field trial
is now underway in the U.S. to answer many questions regarding the mass production of an all electric
