We're not asking for you to parade around town in a green cape, but we do want to recognize you for the steps you have made to make our community and environment even better.

BD Medical
Green Team Utah would like to applaud BD Medical, a local medical technology firm, for their recent purchase of 3.09 million kilowatts hours of renewable wind energy each month!
Beginning next month BD Medical will begin utilizing the Rocky Mountain Power's Blue Sky program. This purchase is the equivalent to the average energy consumption of 48,120 homes, and will reduce BD Medicals facility's carbon emission by approximately 37,060 tons per year.
What an inspiration to see local companies making a difference.
