ASK AN EXPERT Jeff Ward Executive Director of TreeUtah Jeff Ward, Executive Director of TreeUtah, is a Salt Lake City native and a graduate of the University of Utah. His professional background includes nearly 15 years of experience in the environmental and natural resource management field working as a consultant, managing an outdoor recreation program, and as ranger for the U.S. Forest Service. Mr. Ward is a Certified Arborist and serves on the Utah Community Forest Council's Board of Directors and is also a member of the River Management Society. He is an avid whitewater enthusiast, fly fisherman, skier, hiker, gardener, and enjoys an occasional game of ice hockey when time permits. Through his professional experience and personal interests, Mr. Ward has developed extensive knowledge of the social and environmental issues that threaten the natural and cultural resources in our region and has gained an enormous respect for, and desire to protect and restore these resources.
